Shipping and incoterms
Bulk orders ship in containers. Consolidated LCL is available for trial quantities; FCL (20ft or 40ft) for regular supply. Smaller wholesale orders inside the USA can ship by pallet.
Port of loading
The port of loading depends on the product and vessel availability and is stated on the quotation together with the country of origin.
Incoterms

| FOB | Goods cleared for export and loaded on the vessel at the port of loading. Freight and insurance arranged by the buyer. |
| CFR | FOB plus ocean freight to the named destination port. |
| CIF | CFR plus marine insurance to the destination port. |
| DDP | Delivered to your address with import clearance and duties paid, where ODOD has a clearance arrangement (USA and selected markets). |
Documents
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Bill of lading
- Certificate of origin
- Phytosanitary certificate
- Health certificate or inspection certificate where applicable
- Laboratory analysis reports as agreed in the specification
- Fumigation certificate when required by the destination
- Halal certificate for Halal markets
Container loading
Indicative loads: a 20ft container carries about 18 to 25 MT of rice, pulses or flour in 25 or 50 kg bags, and 10 to 14 MT of whole spices depending on bulk density. Exact quantities are confirmed per product and packing; see the container calculator.
Transit
Typical ocean transit to the USA is 25 to 40 days, to Europe 20 to 28 days, to the Middle East 7 to 12 days and to Australia 20 to 30 days. Schedules are confirmed at booking.
